Drywall is most of what people see in a finished interior, and it is only as good as the board work underneath the finish. MB hangs drywall for commercial interiors across the Charlotte region with tight joints, the right board in the right place and fastening that follows the assembly called out on the drawings.
Because we also frame and finish, there is no gap between trades waiting on each other. The board goes up as the framing is released and the finishers follow behind.

How we do it
The right board for each wall.
Commercial drawings call for different board types in different rooms: fire-rated board in rated walls, moisture-resistant board in restrooms and break rooms, impact-resistant board in corridors. We follow the spec room by room.
For rated assemblies we build to the listed design on the drawings, including board type, layers and fastening, so the wall passes inspection the first time.

Do you install fire-rated drywall assemblies?
Yes. We build rated walls and ceilings to the listed design called out on the drawings, including the board type, number of layers and fastening the design requires.
What types of drywall do you install?
Standard gypsum board, Type X fire-rated board, moisture- and mold-resistant board, and abuse- or impact-resistant board, as your specs call for.
Do you also tape and finish?
Yes. Our finishers follow right behind the hangers, and we finish to the level your spec calls for. See our drywall finishing page for details.
What areas do you serve?
We work within about an hour of Concord, including Charlotte, Kannapolis, Mooresville, Huntersville, Gastonia, Monroe and Salisbury. Larger projects farther out are considered case by case.
